President

Shawn joined the board in 2018 to give back to CYP after enjoying the benefits of being a member for many years. He currently serves as the President. His time is shared between his career as an accountant at Cohick and Associates and his involvement in non-profits like CYP and Project SHARE. He looks forward to continuing to grow in his leadership roles and responsibilities.

Shawn loves volleyball, all things Syracuse, and being a young professional in Carlisle!

Secretary

Africa Degler has been serving the Carlisle Young Professional organization since January of 2022. She serves as the board's secretary. In her professional career, she is a realtor with the Dave Hooke Team at Keller Williams of Central PA. She views herself as your real estate 'matchmaker' by serving members of the community and helping them find their perfect home!

Africa has spent most of her childhood sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and loves the outdoors! She is a forever learner in all aspects of her life and is passionate about helping others succeed. In her downtime, she can be found helping the community, biking local trails, meeting new people, and spending time with her two kiddos.

Vice President

Scot Whiskeyman serves as CYP's Vice President. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ helping hard-working professionals and their families achieve their financial dreams. He co-owns his firm with his wife and business partner, Lindsey. Scot enjoys distance running, poker, and spending time with his cats.

Sports Chair

Allison joined the CYP Board in 2021 and currently serves as the Sports Chair. When she's not running sports leagues, she can be found selling 'Wonderland Weddings' at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion. Allison joined CYP to make new friendships and make the most of being a young professional in Carlisle. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her family, and volunteering at Rock Run Animal Rescue.

Seeking to make new friends and experience the many things that Carlisle has to offer its residents, Erin became involved in CYP several years ago. She recently joined the Board in 2022. Erin is currently pursuing a career in Capital Blue Cross' IT&D department.

This diehard Steelers fan likes to spend her free time planning motorcycle road trips to her favorite place: the beach!

Treasurer

Billy joined the board in August 2021 and currently serves as the Treasurer. He is an Operations Supervisor at ABF Freight and is currently completing a Supply Chain Management Graduate Certificate Program. When Billy's not working on his latest home renovation project, he enjoys traveling internationally, cooking and spending time at the gym.

Cole Custer works in pharmaceutical sales with Eli Lilly. As a recent transplant to the Carlisle area, he's thankful to Carlisle Young Professionals for giving him an opportunity to connect with his new community.  He's excited to help CYP grow and help more young professionals connect with others in the Carlisle area. His hobbies include film photography, hiking, and road trips. He can’t wait to continue to serve on the CYP board.

Josh Perchinski is a realtor who loves his community and loves playing any sport he can. As a realtor he is the Lead Buyers Agent on the Dave Hooke team at Keller Williams. He services buyers and sellers as well as mentoring newer agents. In the community Josh is both a member of the CYP board and president of the Carlisle chapter of professional referral exchange. He is also an active member in the Carlisle Chamber. Finally, Josh plays Ultimate Frisbee each week, enjoys multiple disc golf, pickleball, volleyball and corn hole leagues.
